Furious Fades Barbershop ("Furious Fades", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and when you book or contact us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

2. Information we collect

• Booking information. When you book online, you do so on Squire, a third-party booking platform. Squire collects the details you enter there (for example your name, phone number, email, chosen service, barber and appointment time) and shares them with us so we can serve you.
• Phone calls and visits. If you call or visit, we may note your name, phone number and appointment details to schedule or manage your visit.
• Concierge questions. If you type a question into the "Ask us" concierge, we use the text of your question to answer it. Please don't enter personal or sensitive details there.
• Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical data when pages load, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and the time of the request. This is used for security and to keep the site running.
• Analytics (only with your consent). If analytics are switched on, we measure actions such as which pages are viewed and whether the Book or Call buttons are clicked. Analytics cookies are only set after you choose "Allow analytics".

The website itself has no accounts, no sign-up forms and no payment forms. The Cut Finder runs entirely in your browser: your answers are not sent to us or stored, and no photo is requested.

3. How we use information

• To book, confirm, change or cancel appointments, and to provide our services.
• To answer your questions by phone, in the shop or through the concierge.
• To understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it and measure our advertising (only if you have allowed analytics).
• To keep the website secure and to meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the shop and this website, and only as needed for that purpose:

• Squire — online booking. Information you enter on Squire is also handled under Squire's own privacy policy.
• Our website hosting provider — to deliver the site and keep it secure.
• Google — the map on our Visit section is embedded from Google Maps, and Google may collect information when it loads. If analytics are enabled and you allow them, Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager and Google Ads measurement are used. Google's own privacy policy applies to that data.
• An AI service provider — only if AI-assisted concierge answers are switched on; your question is sent securely to generate a reply and is not used to identify you.

We may also disclose information if required by law. Some of these providers may store or process information outside Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

This site stores a small number of settings in your browser, such as your analytics choice and whether you have already seen the opening animation during your visit. Analytics and advertising cookies are only set if you choose "Allow analytics". You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, and you can block cookies through your browser settings. Embedded Google Maps may set its own cookies.

6. Links to other sites

Our site links to Squire, Google Maps, Instagram and Facebook. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them. Please review their policies when you visit them.

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, for example to manage your appointments and booking history, or as required by law. When it is no longer needed, it is deleted or made anonymous.

This site is served over a secure (HTTPS) connection, and we use reputable service providers with their own security safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

9. Your choices and rights

You may ask to access the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to its use (subject to legal or contractual limits). You can also decline analytics at any time. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

This website is not directed at children. Appointments for children should be booked by a parent or guardian.
